Q. How do I nominate a student?
A. The automated submission of the CTFP Student
Nomination Form is now available via the SCO-Tweb system (accessed via the SAN).
It provides for the automated submission and tracking of all nominees for the CTF
Program. Please see the following
CTFP
Nomination Form User Guide for instructions on its use.
Q. How is the training program identified in country training program database?
A.
In the Standardized Training List (STL) database, all three MILDEPs are
using "pseudo" FMS cases to identify the CTF training program.
Case identifier is FY + the letter “B” (i.e. 06B, 07B, 08B, etc.) Additional numeric digits may follow the case identifier to
identify the line on the case (such as 001, 999, etc).
Q. What price category applies to training
provided under the CTF Program?
A.
The IMET price applies.
Q. Is a travel
and living allowance (TLA) be paid?
A.
Yes, the same TLA that is paid to IMET students will be paid to CTF
Program students.
Q. Do IMET program restrictions apply to
this program?
A.
No, the IMET constraints in SAMM, Paras 100104 thru 100107 do not apply.
Q. Do CTF Program students have to be screened
and vetted in the same manner as students are under Security Assistance
sponsored training?
